All major Greek banks i.e National Bank of Greece, Alpha Bank, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank, etc. have branches and ATM machines on the island. Banks are open Monday to Thursday (08.00 – 14.30) – Friday (08.00 – 14.00). 

Separate free-standing ATM’s are located throughout the island. 

If you are going to a  bank to exchange money into Euros or to cash travellers cheques you must must have your international passport with you.
